Red second eye lid

Hi My 5 month old has bright white eyes but the second eye lid or bottom corner is always reddish. Is this an allergy or is it normal ?

I have 4 month bitch Frenchie who has the same problem in both of her eyes. They seem at there most red when she is tired. I am hoping it is not cherry eye and it is my intention to allow her a another month to see if they settle down before going to the vets. My vet has already seen her when we took her for her vaccination and he wasn't, concerned about them but mention the redness at the time. Good Luck
